Tips To Remember on an Assignment

• Be on time.  In fact, be a little early on your first day of a new assignment.
• Remember your timecard. If you don’t have timecards, let us know so that we can get one to you.
• Dress appropriately for each assignment. Your Verion Representative will tell you what to expect; but, when in doubt, always dress more conservatively on your first day.
• Don’t be afraid to ask questions on the job. If you’re unsure of something, check with the client supervisor to make sure you’re following directions.
• Be friendly. Introduce yourself to your co-workers. When you meet new people, a warm, professional attitude is the best way to fit in.
• Be flexible. Do your best to adapt to the environment and the procedures of each workplace.
• Communicate with your Verion Representative on a regular basis. If you have any concerns, let us know immediately. We’ll discuss possible solutions. And we’ll speak directly to the client if necessary.

Free Training

Verion Staffing works with many companies who have job openings for entry level people with no related experience. In order to help both our clients and our applicants, we offer free training for people who qualify. The free training will help you understand the job duties and help you be successful on the job.

 

How does it work?

Free training is available to all applicants who qualify. The training is job related and will help decide if you like a certain kind of work and are willing to do that work.

 

Who do I contact?

Training courses change from time to time. Contact Verion Staffing to find out what training is available and when it is offered.

How do I qualify?

Come to Verion Staffing, fill out an application, pass the required tests, be interviewed, and together we will determine which training program is right for you. When you qualify and complete your training, we will do our best to put you to work.  However, completing the training does not guarantee you a job.

Whether you are looking for a temporary worker for just one day, a temp-to-hire employee, a contract person, or a direct hire, Verion Staffing will assist you with any of these staffing requirements. Each candidate receives a background investigation, basic skills test, job assessment and signs a drug screen consent form. If entry level candidates display an aptitude and a great attitude, but do not have experience, we may arrange for free training before placement. We would prefer to invest in training time and assess their ability and willingness to work within your specific job expectations rather than for you to experience employee turnover at your facility.
